If you were to talk to 20 different Anglican Christians, you might hear 20 different versions about what it means to be Anglican. This is because the anglican church has been around for over 500 years. That is a long time for one tradition! Our hope is to guide you to resources that will help you discover this ancient tradition and to help you understand our Anglican parish.

Prayer Book People

As Anglicans, it is inevitable that we are defined by our prayer book because the prayer book defines our worship. Without the BCP we wouldn't be Anglicans.

 

Three Streams

At King's Cross, we believe it is important to embody the three streams of the Christian faith: Catholic, Protestant, and Charismatic. It is only when we embrace all of these that we live out the best expression of Christianity.

Just the beginning...

As I mentioned at the beginning of this, it is hard to encapsulate the Anglican tradition and history in just a few points, but I hope that it is a good beginning. As the church grows and has more space, I do hope that we can add more resources here that will help you begin to discover the great depths of the Anglican tradition. For now, continue to explore the different things on this website or other places that have been linked as a way to keep exploring.
